In this episode, I discuss a scenario in which the woman feels like the man she is seeing is being a jerk. But is he really? Or is she trying to do too much and make more out of the situation than there really is.
Let’s dive into these main points of the scenario! (Check out the FB Live for all the details!)
First and foremost, just because a date is magical for YOU does not mean it was magical for the other person. It’s easy to assume that because an event was good for us that it was also good for someone else. It’s hard to imagine that it could have felt any other way for the other person. This is called PROJECTION.
Second, just because it seems like you’ve known someone for years, doesn’t actually mean you’ve known them for years! Allow a relationship to be where it is without the need to fast forward through the beginning “getting to know you stage.” Because that’s when you actually get to know someone and that is VALUABLE time.
Third, even though you’ve spewed your life story all over a virtual stranger, doesn’t mean you’re actually close. When you’re on a date, share from a place of strength, vulnerability, and awareness. Not because you have NO boundaries and need someone to cry to.
In the end, it all comes down to ENERGY! If you come from a place of lack, you’re going to get wonky energy back. Instead, go ahead and join Man-ifest already. On today’s episode, I talk with amazingly talented Sarah Ordo.
Sarah is your not so typical millennial girl just craving to make moves and leave her mark on the world! She’s a bit of a do-it-all kind of girl and seriously does ALL the things. Sarah is an entrepreneur and the owner of 24Luxe Hair & Makeup here in Detroit, an on-location hair and makeup team for weddings and events. She is also a licensed makeup artist, self-published author, podcast host, YouTuber, life coach, workshop creator, and most recently has began organizing live local events!
We talk all about her sobriety and how being sober has impacted and changed her life. We discuss dating before and after sobriety and how getting to a happy place led her to meeting her fiance.
We also talk about how she got her start through blogging and doing Youtube videos and how a dream led her to writing her first book, Sober As F***! And how that first book has led to 6 more books with another coming out soon.
